Make-Money Scam Alert ~ Don’t Fall For This!

If you want to make money online, then you must read this post. I had put this warning on my blogs last year, but because some of my blogs were hacked and server problems they’re gone ( which also had my backups, oops!). It’s absolutely worth posting about again.

This is a warning about how many Marketers falsify their PayPal statements or other proof of earnings! When it comes to the Internet, seeing is not ALWAYS believing!

There is a simple javascript that when typed into the browser, allows you to edit the webpage. The changes are not permanent and no harm is done, but you can change your PayPal or bank statements completely, make a screen-capture of it and put into a sales page. Since it looks so real, most people don’t know that they’re being duped.

Tips on spotting a scammer

So, how do know if someone is legit? There’s really no way to tell for sure. BUT look at each sales page/offer with a critical eye. Think things out before spending you hard earned money. ANYONE that promises that you can make money overnight or with no work on your part is a DEFINITE sign of a scam! Just click away from that page.

It doesn’t matter how turn-key or automated the program is, there is still a minimal amount of work or effort on your part- even if it’ just to generate the leads so they can close the deal ( which is usually for a hefty price).

In the beginning, you will probably be doing everything. Then as you start to earn money, you may want to outsource some tasks. Maybe those that you like least doing or not very good at.

Check out the testimonials- are they mostly from the “Marketing Gurus”? I don’t usually give much credence to them simply because I know some Marketers have paid people to give them or they might have an incentive such as they are an Affiliate of theirs.

I know the FTC is cracking down and have changed their rules, but unless there are complaints, they simply are not going to be able or probably willing to investigate each webpage. There are millions of sites and probably billions of web pages so it’s going to difficult for them to oversee all of them.

Almost Final Words

Basically, if it seems to good to be true, then it most likely is. Don’t bother spending money on things when you can usually get them for free or very inexpensively.

I think the best thing for you to do is first decide what it is that you want to do online- be an Affiliate Marketer, sell your own products, extend an offline business, start a new business. Pick an area of interest or niche. Then decide what skills you presently have and which ones need improvement.
